A new exercise plan....

One of my major struggles with my health / weight is even when I have lost weight in the past I still struggle with getting my exercise. However, I think that problem has been partially solved this week in my increased need to keep up with my children. Baylee can now get up on onto both stoops from the living room with really no effort at all. So about everytime i look up he is in the kitchen - that is still the preferred side to go to but yesterday afternoon I had the Christmas tree turned on and that was the target - before i knew it he was just inches away from the tree. Needless to say I have moved some of the ornaments so there are no breakable ones within reach..... As you can see from this picture he can move pretty fast - I went out to the garage to get something for dinner and he was in the kitchen with me - by the time i took the food in the kitchen and got things started he was already down at the end of the hallway. For those who haven't been to my house I took the picture from the entry to the kitchen and the hallway is leading out to the garage.
Here he is yesterday figuring out how to get into the front room with the hardwood floor - that took a little more effort at first since the floor is much slicker than in the kitchen but now that he has it down it is effortless....

Poor Rylee keeps trying but he just doesn't have it down yet - i think that 1/2" shorter that he is than Baylee is leading to the disadvantage. Baylee keeps trying to show him and mommy and daddy have been trying to help him as well but right now he is still getting frustrated but still trying.

When not trying to get up the stoop they have also discovered all of the movies...

We have a whole living room full of toys and things that they can play with but they are no longer interesting to the boys they much prefer the things they really shouldn't be getting into - imagine that :-)

You have just began to have fun!!!!! and yes you will get plenty of exercise with 2 boys..I sure had a good time with them yesterday.. Just wish we could be with them everyday, but you would probably get tired of us too, so I guess 25 minutes is a good distance apart.. Keep uop the pictures for all of us...hugs and kisses to all,

This is hilarious! Just wait till they start walking.... and then running....and then climbing....

God has a way of easing us moms into this whole 'kids on the move' things on step at a time...but even then it seems things move so quickly!!
