Feeling better

The boys are feeling better again today. They were able to go to the babysitters today and did ok. Rylee was a little clingy but he has been that way since not feeling good. Here are a few shots of the boys last night. We were in the office getting some things done so they were hanging out with us in there..
Here was Baylee playing in our paper recycling box - daddy put him in there to be funny but he loved playing with all the paper!! He doesn't look all that happy in the picture but that is because i interrupted him.
Here is Rylee just hanging out watching daddy.
As for grandpa he made it through surgery just fine yesterday - he doesn't do well with anesthesia so he wasn't feeling very good last night but the ankle is doing well. He was able to come home last night and we were going to go see him but grandma called and said that they were both so tired they would prefer we wait so we will go on Saturday when hopefully he is feeling much better. Hope everyone has a happy Friday!!

The boys are feeling better today - they rested and were fussy this morning and a little this afternoon but this evening they have been playing and are almost back to their "normal" selves. They have taken their bottles today and everything has stayed down. Assuming all goes well for the rest of the night they will be going to Tracey's tomorrow.

Now we need prayer for the boy's grandpa (Suzi's daddy). He fell and broke his ankle this morning because of all the snow and ice in Bloomington while he was working this morning. He will be having surgery on Thursday morning. Well we are off to give the boys baths and get them to bed.

Please pray...

Please send up some prayers for these poor pitiful boys. They are both feeling pretty miserable. They both have ear infections and upper respiratory infections. They were started on antibiotics yesterday but are still feeling pretty yucky as you can see in these pictures.
Well mommy better go snuggle these boys and at least try to make them feel better. hopefully i will have my happy, playful boys back soon.

One week down

Well today is Friday and that means my work week is done and the weekend has begun. Monday was hard to leave the house - i had to cry when kissing them good-bye but they were home with daddy all day on Monday because he was off for the holiday. Then Tuesday I was teary eyed as well knowing they were going to be "big boys" going off to the baby-sitter. They did great at Tracey's and I feel so comfortable with her so that has really helped this week be easier. Here is a picture from their first day at Tracey's - they look really happy so that made mommy and daddy happy!! Now I am going to go enjoy my day home with these sweet boys!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!

Today was Grandpa's birthday so we went out to lunch after church today. This was the boy's first experience in high chairs so it was a big day!! They got some mashed potatoes, ice cream and lemonade as well. Rylee was not a big fan of the ice cream but everything else was a big hit. Here are some pictures from our outing.
Here is Rylee getting some mashed potatoes...
I don't think Baylee was too excited at first about the idea of the high chair - or maybe it was just the camera....But later on he warmed up and was giggly.....Rylee was happy to be celebrating with grandpa on his special day!!

We love you grandpa - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! (We love you too grandma). I am spending the rest of the afternoon resting and getting things ready to go back to work tomorrow. I can't think about it or I start crying so I just don't think about :-)

Back Alive!!!!

Most people have probably long given up on the blog at this point but I do plan on posting again. I had a TERRIBLE bought of the stomach virus from January 2 - 10 and was still very weak this week. I am finally starting to feel about 80% like myself but it really knocked me on my butt - i ended up in the ER twice and was admitted overnight one night. Baylee has also been sick with an ear infection and pink eye. He is on antibiotics and is starting to feel better himself. Rylee has been a trooper and somehow has pretty much avoided all the germs. Terry, my parents, and some dear friends help take care of us all while mommy was out of commission. Thanks so much to everyone for everything you did - I don't know what I would have done without you!!! I don't have any pictures to upload at this time because trust me we have been a sight for sore eyes but hopefully we will be more photogenic soon and you can get your picture fix. Other than the illnesses everyone is doing great - the boys conintue to grow and explore everyday. I head back to work on Monday but daddy is off so they will start daycare on Tuesday.
